Welcome to St. Mark's Catholic Primary School

Our Aim

 

To raise money to further the goals of the school and provide additional facilities for our children.  As a spin off we also aim to provide a forum where both parents and children are able to socialise outside of school hours.

 

We organise a series of fundraising events throughout the year, some for parents and some for the whole family, which we hope are fun and entertaining but also raise funds for the school.  Regular events may include a bingo night, race night, sponsored events and even a car boot/table sale.

 

Where does the money go?

 

The money raised can be used for various items such as extra equipment for the school,  help with funding of school outings and to provide children with fun activities during and after school.

 

What is the parents role?

 

The PTA runs as a committee for which we need members who will on a regular basis attend meetings to discuss fundraising ideas and funding requests from the school. 

 

We also need volunteers who can be called upon to help out at supervising/assisting in running the various events that are held over the school year.
