Year 3

Today we had a shopping list of things we needed to get. We also had a price list. We had to find out how much the totals were for each shopping trip. We learnt how to use a calculator too!

To celebrate anti-bullying week, we had a special visitor, a poet! The children really enjoyed the poems she shared. They then took part in a workshop and designed a ‘hero’ who would help people who were being bullied. Well done Year 3!

Today, in Year 3, Michael’s dad came in to tell the children all about his job as a football coach. The children were all enthralled and loved looking at all the football kits and currency/maps of Brazil. Thank you so much and we are all looking forward to more!

Over half term, Amelia and Elsie created some brilliant projects all about our Ancient Egyptian topic. Amelia created a wonderful fact file all about the goddess Isis and Elsie made pyramids and drew some of the gods and goddesses too! Well done girls.
