Hunting time 25.6.20

Good morning Nursery,

I hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying this gorgeous weather!

Today is the day that we are going to have to use those binoculars and do some hunting, however not for the bear today. Instead we are going to be hunting for things that the family can't under or over but through in the story!

Can you remember what those things were!?

That's right! We had some grass, some mud, a river, a forest and a snowstorm.

Your task for today is to go and hunt using your binoculars, to find a little bit of material from each of these events, for example: if you could pick some grass (you could maybe do this using tweezers), shovel and scoop some mud, pour or scoop some water for the river, pick up some branches or twigs for the forest and finally the snowstorm (you could use some cotton wool balls as pretend snowballs).

Once you have hunted and collected all of your items, maybe try this as an idea: to bring your story to life (if you haven't got bottles any container will do)

To further challenge yourself, you could even try remembering what order they went through all of the things to get to the cave!

Have fun hunting, I can't wait to see how you get on!

Lots of love,
