Under the sea - Monday 8th June

Good morning Reception,

I hope you all had a wonderful half term break - I've missed you all so much. I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing what you've been up to over the half term holidays.

Could you write about it or draw a picture and send it to me via twitter or email? I've enjoyed doing lots of walking, exercising, watching Netflix and even relaxing a little in the sunshine!

Who can remember the days of the week song? Can you sing it for somebody who lives in your house and tell them what day it is today?

Today, I'd like you to start by watching phonics online with Rosie. Try to do this each day like we do in school. REMEMBER - you may have done them all but it's good to practice!

Now, here's our story for today.

The Snail and the Whale

Tell an adult your favourite part of the story! Can you draw or write about it?

Now, this next part may be a little tricky but ask an adult to help you. Can you find some rhyming words in the story (listen again to help you). Can you write a list of your favourite rhyming words from the story? Can you think of anymore of your own?

Don't forget to share your fantastic ideas on twitter or send them via email,

Missing you all,

Miss Connell x
