The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch - Monday 15th June

Good morning everyone,

Today is the first day of the week... I bet you've guessed what it is already!

Well done, it's Monday! I hope you've all had a lovely weekend, what have you been up to? I've been doing lots of running, the first one was really hard but now I'm getting used to it hehe!

Today, I have a story called 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch'. We have read this story in school during snack time, listen to it again today and see what you can remember.

The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch

Tell an adult what you can remember about the story.

What was your favourite part?

Who is your favourite character?

How would you trick the seagulls?

Maybe you could draw or write about it!

Today, can you design and make your very own lighthouse. Have a look at some of the ideas below.

Lego Lighthouse

Paint a lighthouse

Pringles tube lighthouse

You could even do it by simply rolling up a piece of white paper/card with colourful red strips, into a cone shape. I can't wait to see yours.

Have a lovely day,

Miss Connell x
