As a caring christian community we fundraise for charities at home and abroad.
During advent in the build up to Christmas we buy CAFOD world gifts e.g. School starter packs, Chickens and Drought resistant crops for needy families in other continents. This year we organised a reverse advent calender for the Hope Project, a homeless charity based in Liverpool. We have also raised money for ‘Save the Children’.
During Lent in the weeks leading up to Easter we fundraise for The Nugent Care Society, through their Good Shepherd Collection. This is a local charity caring for needy families within the local area.
Children take part in a variety of fundraising activities such as bingo, cake sale, toy/book sale and auction.
