Hollies Road Playgroup is over 40 years old. In September 2002 we moved here to St. Mark’s School.
We offer top quality childcare at prices that are affordable to all.
We take children from 2 years to 4 years old.
(We offer 15 hours free childcare per week for eligible families)
We observe the children carefully and plan for each child with a great variety of activities. We have a beautifully equipped outdoor area which we spend lots of time in.
Sheila Neary is Playgroup Leader and Penni Conlon is Assistant, both have NVQ level 3 in Early Years chilcare. All staff are DSB/CRB checked and many have relevant qualifications.
We offer a wrap around service and deliver children to St. Mark’s, Plantation and Halewood C. of E. school for afternoon Nursery.

St Mary’s Roseheath was established in 1972 as a playgroup meeting the needs of the local community. It has now developed into a successful pre-school and holiday club which operates on 2 sites. We joined the St Mark’s site in July 2012 and are very lucky to have a large space both indoors and outdoors which provides endless opportunities for play and learning for all the children.
We offer the highest quality care at a competitive price for 0-3 years and 2-11 year olds from 8am until 5.30pm all year round.
Our setting within the school grounds in managed by Alision Darlington who is a qualified Early Years Professional, and supported by Hayley Carr, both hold a NVQ 3 in Early Years and Childcare. All other staff are fully qualified to NVQ level 2 and 3, and are supported by Apprentices working towards their level 2 and 3 in Childcare.
A mixture of part time and full time sessions are available including collections and drop off to the local schools, breakfast, lunch and afterschool clubs throughout the year including holidays.
We also offer both the free 2 year and 3 year offer 11.4/15 hour free places to those families that qualify.
