Welcome to our Nursery class page! A place where curiosity blooms, friendships grow, and learning is full of laughter and discovery! Here you’ll find useful information and updates throughout the school year to help you stay connected with everything happening in our busy, happy classroom.
Our wonderful Nursery team is made up of:

Mrs Costello (Mon–Wed)
Miss Shirley (Thurs–Fri)
We are so excited to begin making memories with all our new Nursery children. Each day is filled with opportunities to play, explore, create, and learn together. Whether it’s painting masterpieces, discovering nature, singing songs, or sharing stories, our Nursery is a place where every child is valued and encouraged to shine.
Key Information
30 Hours Funding
Children eligible for 30-hour childcare funding are asked to make a statutory contribution of £15.00 per week (term time only) to cover lunch wraparound care. A delicious school dinner is included in this price, or you may send a packed lunch if you prefer.
Names on Personal Items
Please make sure all clothing, coats, bags and other items are clearly labelled with your child’s name – it really helps us return belongings to the right owner after a busy day of play!
Water Bottles
We love to keep our children hydrated and healthy. Please send a named water bottle (water only, please – no juice).
Snack Time
We provide a daily snack for our Early Years children, so there’s no need to bring one from home. Snack contributions are 25p per day, which works out as:
- £10 for Autumn 1
- £8.75 for Autumn 2
- £7.50 each for Spring 1, Spring 2, Summer 1 and Summer 2
Payments can be made at the start of each half term. Thank you for helping us keep snack time tasty and enjoyable for everyone!
Spare Clothes
Exploring, digging, painting, and outdoor adventures can get a little messy and that’s how we know we’re having fun! Please send a spare set of clothes, wellies and underwear each day, just in case.
We can’t wait to share this exciting year with you and your little one. Nursery is such a special time – a first step into a world of friendships, imagination, and learning through play.
